Account Executive, Publisher Services
AdSide is hiring a talented Publisher Services Account Executive for its rapidly growing premium pay-per-click ad network.
Position Summary
Reporting to the VP of Sales and Marketing, the Account Executive, Publisher Services will manage a significant portion of AdSide’s media buying and optimization efforts. The position requires a combination of strong analytical skills, media buying experience, contract negotiation and excellent client relations capabilities.
This is a full time position, based in our New York City office.
Responsibilities
As part of the Publisher Services team, the account executive will prospect, secure and grow relationships with large content publishers. The talented individual will work closely with our advertising sales, client services and engineering teams to ensure that advertiser and publisher needs are effectively met. The account executive will possess at all times clear knowledge of the available publisher inventory and advertiser offers throughout the network. The position requires strong analytical and problem solving skills, and the ability to interpret quantitative data.
Required Skills
- Media buying and business development experience
- Strong understanding of ad network and ad serving technologies
- Strong understanding of online advertising pricing models (CPM, CPC, CPA)
- Strong quantitative and analytical skills
- Understanding of the basics of Contextual and Demographic ad targeting
- Strong negotiation skills
- Excellent written and verbal communication and interpersonal skills
- Team player and cross-departmental communicator
- BS/BA degree required

Advertising Sales Associate
Job Description:
AdSide is hiring experienced, talented and successful advertising sales associates.
Reporting to the VP of Sales and Marketing, the ad sales team member is responsible for generating new business and developing relationships with advertisers and agencies.
Responsibilities:
- Proactively prospect, qualify and grow client base in specific market segments. This includes cold calling, negotiating and securing new media budgets.
- Help create effective sales proposals.
- Secure ad hoc media budgets based on available and anticipated inventory.
- Work collaboratively with sales, marketing, and account management teams to achieve goals of the sales group.
This role requires a good understanding of the online media market, a strong client orientation, and the ability to meet deadlines and targets.
Skills:
- Proven outside sales experience.
- Good understanding of online advertising networks and exchanges.
- Knowledge of the Internet media business and associated business models.
- Prior Search Marketing experience a plus.
Qualifications:
- 2+ years in online advertising industry.
- 1+ years in online advertising sales.

VP, Operations
Responsibilities:
- Direct the product management functions, working with the development team to define product features and benefits, assisting in product testing, and developing and executing product launch plans.
- Coordinate business development, including the establishment of partnerships with leading content providers and product sales to major corporate customers.
- Coordinate marketing and public relations, including the production of marketing collateral, press initiatives, and marketing events/conferences.
- Develop and execute a direct marketing program to sign up midmarket and small content providers as customers.
- Establish and manage a client service function after the product is launched.
- Establish company business infrastructure and processes, including human resources (payroll, benefits), facilities/real estate, and information technology.
- Assist CEO and external accountants in establishing proper financial processes and controls.
- Collaborate with board, CEO, on company strategy and obtaining future venture capital funding.
- Work with CEO to determine areas where additional staffing is needed and assist in the recruiting and process to build new teams.

Sr. Product Manager
Skills: Product Requirements Documents (PRD's), Proof of Concept, Use Cases
Responsibilities:
- Research and document business requirements, create functional specifications, analyze and act on market and competitor information, and work with Sales and Marketing to define optimal product development strategy.
- Work with technical teams as they develop technical specifications and development schedules.
- Work closely with respective departments to define objectives, user requirements, project scope, resources, timelines and deliverables.
- Produce quantitative business rationale for product prioritization.
- Work with Business Development to analyze requirements and needs and propose solutions.
- Communicate product status internally.
- Develop technical collateral document to support product: white papers, product description, PowerPoint presentations.
Experience:
- 5+ years experience in Product Management at a leading Internet company.
- Strong understanding of the Internet media business and associated business models.
- Strong understanding of online advertising.
- Experience assembling product requirements from multiple sources (e.g. research, usability, consumer feedback, competitive assessment).
- Experience designing web-based user interfaces is a plus.
- Understanding of search engine technology and other Internet technologies.
- Established analytical skills.
- Strong understanding of Software Development Life Cycle.
- Business analysis experience or education.
- Excellent oral and written communication skills.
- BA/BS required, MBA is a plus.
- Preference for candidates with both startup and mature organizational experience.
